Such is the case with the new U Express push-pole wireless camera inspection system, which utilizes the U system’s frame and wheels, coupled with the Express system, which allows a user to inspect straight to their Apple device.
The heavy-duty U Express push-pole system’s reel comes equipped with 200’ of UEMSI/HTV’s proven multi-conductor, nylon-jacketed push-pole video cable. This push-pole video cable is the strongest in the industry enabling the user to push long runs, yet flexible enough to handle tight turns in small diameter piping. JACKSON, Wisc. (November 20, 2025) - After great customer feedback and satisfaction of P/N G49654SP, the one-piece fully-molded 14” x 15” inlet seals used on Vactor® 2100 series units, UEMSI/HTV is now introducing P/N G49654A-SP.

Much like our G20188M, the ball bearings are stainless steel as well, not plated steel, and the seal is made of Viton™ construction, not Buna rubber like our competition. UEMSI/HTV Adds 7” Aluminum Vacuum Tube to Vast Offering

JACKSON, Wisc. (August 20, 2025) – For the past 36 years, UEMSI/HTV has listened to our customer’s feedback and needs to align our product offering with the ever-changing landscape of the sewer cleaning and hydro excavation industries. Some say its our customer service that sets us apart from our competition. We’d like to think its just the right way to do things.
With that said, UEMSI/HTV is pleased to announce we’ve added 7” aluminum Dura Tube™ to our product line. This .115” wall aluminum tubing is the middle ground between our 6” and 8” offerings, and is highly-sought after for many in the industry. ‘It took some time to roll out, but just know that what we do behind the scenes is always aimed at saving the customer time and money,’ said UEMSI/HTV’s Rick Dresang. ‘Anyone who has used Dura Tube knows it’s the industry leader for vacuum and dig tubing, and we’re not taking any shortcuts. Its still the longest-lasting aluminum tubing on the market today, and it wasn’t for lack of research.’ For the initial roll-out, we’re just offering it in flange-flange and flange/crown tubing, but we’ll have more offerings in the coming months. A Clarification
A little over nine years ago, Alison and Rick Dresang started a new company under the UEMSI/HTV brand name. It stands for United Environmental Manufacturing Supply, Inc., Hose and Televising.
UEMSI/HTV was born out of our 50% ownership of UEMSI. We were in a business partnership with another family from 1989 to October 5, 2015 as UEMSI. It was a very successful and positive time in our business lives in creating our sales network and our product lines.
Over the first couple of years after our departure from the former business, we would occasionally hear from customers that they were informed UEMSI/HTV was a dealer or subsidiary of another company. That information was not, and is not correct.
As recent as five weeks ago, one of our customers informed us they were purchasing products from ‘our parent company, as UEMSI/HTV was just distributing their manufactured products and marking up the pricing.’
So as a clarification memo for record: UEMSI/HTV is solely owned by Alison and Rick Dresang since October 6, 2015. We do not have any other business partners and we are not a subsidiary or dealer for another industry business.
The misinformation about UEMSI/HTV has lead customers and some vendors from doing business with us in the past.

UEMSI/HTV Becomes Official Pipeline Camera Manufacturer of Road America

Jackson, WISC (July 22, 2024) – UEMSI/HTV, the world's largest distributor of sewer cleaning hose, and proud manufacturer of hydro excavation and pipeline maintenance parts as well as pipeline inspection equipment, is pleased to announce they’ve become the Official Sewer Camera Manufacturer of Road America, the world-renowned 4.048 mile racing course nestled in the hills of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
“I’ve been coming to Road America since I was in high school in neighboring Plymouth, Wisconsin," said UEMSI/HTV CFO Rick Dresang. “To couple my personal love of Road America with our family-owned company is a great achievement for our staff. Restock Alert: The UEMSI / HTV U-Hook

Jackson, Wisc. (June 25, 2024) - The all-new UEMSI/HTV U-Hook is a heavy-duty, adjustable flat and 90° combination manhole hook and chisel tool. The adjustable steel head can be turned to change its orientation to the handle 90° to best achieve results. This is simply done by loosening a fastener in the center of the head and turning the head to the ‘next’ slot and re-tightening the fastener.
Easy.
The U-Hook is not only great for popping open manhole covers, but does a great job chiseling away soil, seal coat and asphalt from the top of manhole covers and rims to gain access.
The U-Hook handle is manufactured from ¾” diameter #4130 steel round stock, while the adjustable cast steel head is designed with a pick-hook on one side and a 1 ¼” wide chisel head on the other side.
Many of our users have found other uses for the U-Hook, including in construction, demolition of drywall and plaster, siding and removal of roofing materials. The possibilities are endless.

To put things into perspective, the industry standard debris hose inner tube liner has been 1/8” thickness. A tube liner of 3/16” thickness is classified heavy duty, and a 1/4” thickness is classified extra heavy duty. UEMSI/HTV’s Announces All-New Heavy Duty Adjustable Hydrant Wrenches

Jackson, WISC. (April 26, 2021) - UEMSI/HTV is now offering two new Heavy Duty Adjustable Hydrant Wrenches to its already extensive offering.
An, everyday hydrant wrench on the market today has a handle that is 7/8” in diameter and is 17 ½” long. The first thing that happens when you use these standard wrenches in the field to get a hydrant valve nut loose is that the handle bends- so your first solution is to put a steel tube over it for more torque and support. This might get the job done, but it can often bend the handle even more so. We thought it was time to make the right tool for the job at-hand. Thus, UEMSI/HTV’s all-new Heavy Duty Adjustable Hydrant Wrench has a 1 1/8” diameter steel handle, and is available in 17” length or 24” length for more strength where more pulling torque is needed to break a valve nut or hydrant cap loose. As well, the last 6” of each handle end is knurled, for a non-slip grip. The handle and the wrench head are threaded, and by turning the handle, the wrench can be adjusted to fit any hydrant valve nut or hydrant cap nut. These dielectric tubes were designed for another level of workplace safety, where underground utilities are a concern during hydro excavation procedures.
HPDE material is non-conductive as well as corrosion and abrasion resistant. It has also been proven to last twice as long as conventional aluminum vacuum tubing. Jackson, Wisc. (February 17, 2020) - UEMSI/HTV’s all-new Speed Skid products were made specifically to work with all of the industry’s lateral and mainline flanged and round-bodied root cutter motors.
This uniquely engineered-and-manufactured root cutter collar and skid assembly will pay for itself in time-saving efficiency in changing from one size Speed Skid to another. Speed Skids are manufactured with two ‘L’ shaped notches in the lower edge, allowing the Speed Skid runner to be easy dropped onto the compression bolts and pulled back. The operator then tightens the bolts, which draws the floating compression plate securely against the skid runner, sandwiching it between the motor plate and the floating compression plate. This quick-change operation is accomplished by the use of one 1/2” box wrench, as the floating plate is threaded, eliminating the need for a nut to compliment the compression bolts; thus simplifying the skid-swap process. On a conventional root cutter system, the operator would have to remove each nut and bolt holding each skid- not so with the Speed Skid. The lateral Speed Skid root cutter system can be used on ALL 2 3/8” diameter root cutter motors, while the mainline Speed Skid root cutter system can be used on all round mainline root cutter motors such as the Patriot style as well as the UEMSI/HTV grey hydraulic flange-style root cutter motors, which are also seen in the industry as generic blue or black. *PATENT PENDING* |
